Thanks to my father's profession as a art painter (visit his website here) I was introduced to art and especially to art painting early in my childhood. As a family we frequently visited exhibitions and museums and the famous painters Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne and Pablo Picasso were well known to me. Though as a child I was only slightly excited about the countless museum visits and the large oil paintings, my parents' passion for art affected me in a unconscious but relatively early age and drawing (especially animals) became one of my favourite hobbies for years. Later I was particularly interested in graffiti and typography and filled numerous sketchbooks with my creations.
Even though as a child I spent by far the most time in the photography rooms during the mentioned museum visits, I just started to get more and more involved with photography about 10 years ago and have been intensively involved with it for about 5 years.
What fascinates me about photography the most is the possibility of capturing a moment for "eternity" in the most authentic way possible.
